The Outsider
I remember many times of feeling all alone.
I felt neglected and disrespected, even in my home.
Eating lunch, by myself, without a friend,
Fearing the pain would never end.
On the streets of Galilee, a young man walked alone.
A fellowship of true believers, He had made His own.
He took His meals with the lonely hearted people of that time.
O the pain He bore, when the Pharisees said that His love was a crime.
Oh, I was the outsider looking in.
I didn't know where to begin.
But, then I met Jesus.
He never left me alone.
He opened my doors, and set me free.
O, how the bright sun shone,
When Jesus took me in!
